    Gulf Aluminium Council launched

    The Gulf Aluminium Council (GAC) has been launched to protect the interests of the industry in the Gulf region, WAM news agency reported Wednesday.

    Its board comprises chief executive officers of the six founding member companies: Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), Dubai Aluminium Co (DUBAL), Emirates Aluminium (EMAL), Qatar Aluminium (Qatalum) and Sohar Aluminium (Sohar) in Oman. The sixth member is Saudi Mining Co (Ma'aden).
