International community considers forced aid to Myanmar
Iraq Sun Wednesday 14th May, 2008
The 1.5 million people left destitute by Cylone Nargis in Myanmar are becoming increasingly desperate with foreign aid still only trickling in to the country.
Overstretched aid workers are struggling to reach hard-hit areas and are also having to endure the hazards affecting the local people, including the fears of another tropical depression that a US advisory says could develop into a cyclone within 24 hours.
Meanwhile, in a gesture to critics who say outside aid is critical, Myanmar's reclusive military rulers invited 160 personnel from neighbouring Bangladesh, China, India and Thailand to assist in chaotic relief efforts.
US President George Bush has urged Myanmar's junta to accept disaster response teams that so far have been kept out of the country.
The US State Department has said that disaster response experts were ready to go into Myanmar but that the government would not let them in.
Bush said: 'Our message is to the military rulers: Let the United States come and help you help the people.”
Bush issued his appeal to Myanmar's military government, which is under heavy US sanctions.
Meanwhile, the Dutch government says that aid should be forced into Myanmar for the victims of cyclone Nargis.
Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen wants the UN Security Council to enter the country if a plea to the country's ruling military government. does not work.
France, Great Britain and Germany also support such a move.
The official death toll reported by the state media has now reached 38,000, with another 27,000 still missing.

Beware of lies Aids and medical helps from neighboring countries can and have entered Myanmar with no problem. Only those imposed sanction have problem sending in their people. It is not true no aids been distributed, only no western aids being distributed due to mistrust. As always some people overestimate their worth, and always think they represent the world, only if they time to listen. |

No hidden agendaInteresting that some people defend the dictatoric military regime in Myanmar and also claims that help from neighbouring countries have entered the country and been distributed. Distributed to the military you mean? Why are some people so affraid that the truth from the country whould come out if non-neighbour country representatives would be allowed to enter? Probably because they know that that so much in the country is wrong. |

| Is about time that they should allow help from all over.

International Community's Relief Aid to Myanmar is NOT a pet-project.Stolen foods aid to feed Myanmar Military Junta’s 400,000 soldiers is NOT our International Community’s pet-project. Why anyone want to be a spoiler to the last remaining 7 months in White House? This is not a presidential campaigning policy just RAP to American people to say “Hi, Sweetie” or “What’s happening Babe” can deal with Myanmar’s warlord Gen. Than Shwe. The 2008 Presidential Hopeful Sen. JOHN McCAIN & Coalition “WON’T” recognize the latest phony 92.40% result of Burma’s New Constitution approval. In fact, before the US and EU to destroy the Gen. Than Shwe Dynasty for good, to liberate Burma’s democracy freedom to change Burma’s history forever, the 2009 McCAIN administration in White House will ONLY offer the last chance to urge the Myanmar’s 400,000 troops disarmament, US will allow the disarming Burmese soldiers and their families to keep their government’s housing unit if they agree to give up their Myanmar’s 1st class citizen of Soldier-status, taking off the army uniform, disarmed and return to being an ordinary citizen. |

| Peoples force cannot overturn Burmese Military dictators because
i) the generals and the followers are extremely cruel
ii) peoples have no weapons no guns even no sharp things to fight back
iii) they give troubles not only the person who against to the government also to the family members
iv) they give money to many informers and there are many informers near you or surrounding you
v) they give full privileges to the army personnels such as houses, cars and drivers, moneys, foods and everythings so that these persons enjoy this privileges and obey to them
Is there anyway to against them?
People are waiting outside helps to overturn this government.
China, Russia and neighboring countries get lots and lots of benefits from them.
Who will speak out the truth.
May God help us to our people |

Crimes against Humanity Cyclone Nargis accomplished what noboby else would risk. The liberation of Burma in order to allow the true President of Burma to Set Her people free.
As this opera plays out the loss of life will indeed be staggering and the stories of injustice , criminal acts will be even more horrific than the Holacost. If Than Shwe and his flunkies get away with it, Mankind has failed to such magnitude everyone on Earth must carry machine guns and fend for themselves.
Ne Win is laughing his ass off and enjoying the show. |
