    Thursday 11th March, 2010
    (IANS)

Natalie Mejia, a member of US band Girlicious, has been arrested after drugs were found in her purse, police told The Los Angeles Times.

Mejia was said to have been on her way to the airport to fly to Canada for a concert when her car was pulled over for speeding Tuesday evening near Ventura Freeway, police said.

They were arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale. 'She doesn't know how it (cocaine) got into her purse,' contactmusic.com quoted police officer Tom Lorenz as saying.
